We are back in Vilanculos, Mozambique after several weeks in South Africa, organising the documents needed to apply for our residence visas, and we are so excited to be back! The speed with which we managed to get our visas was unprecedented – nothing short of a miracle! But we expect nothing less as we follow the path set out for us by Jesus Himself! We met people at the embassy also applying for their visas to Mozambique who had been waiting 6, sometimes up to 8 months for their visas! It took us only a few weeks! Thank You Jesus! The reason for that, of course, is because God has a mission for us here in Vilanculos, and so He got as back here as quickly as supernaturally possible so that we can get on with the business of preaching the gospel, saving souls and advancing the Kingdom of God in Africa! And that is exactly what we have been doing since getting back here. We have been back for a week now, and we hit the ground running with the fire of God and the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ! Since arriving in Vilanculos, we have been out to visit some of the villages in the surrounding area to scope out the land and prepare to do our first outreach, where we will spend 3 days camping in our tents in the village while we preach the gospel, pray for the sick, baptise new believers and plant a church! There are literally hundreds of unreached villages scattered throughout the province, and we have been commissioned by Jesus Christ to go out and seek and save the lost through the love of God! I can’t wait to get started! We should be heading out for our first outreach in the next couple of weeks. In Vilanculos town itself, we have been just as busy! We have been out in the marketplace, preaching the gospel and praying for people. Everyone has been so hungry for God and it has been a delight praying for them and watching God touch lives! Some of the mamas working in the market were so touched, they practically begged me to come and teach them the word of God, so I’ll be starting a weekly mamas discipleship group in the marketplace this week! We have also started a mid-week discipleship group, which has just exploded to the point where we have already run out of space at our house and are looking for somewhere to set up our big gospel tent to accommodate everyone! I’ve also been busy arranging permission to go into the prison here with the gospel, so next week I will head in there to preach the gospel and plant a church on Tuesday mornings in the prison. Jesus is moving in Vilanculos and we are contending for revival! Liberty Missions – setting the captives free, hallelujah! Thank you so much for partnering with us in prayer and support! We can’t do this without you! Click on the button below to watch our weekly video blog and be a part of our journey. |
