Such a powerful moment… a former criminal who grew Such a powerful moment… a former criminal who grew up on the streets of the slums in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and was nearly killed by drug lords now preaching the gospel to convicted criminals in prison in Mozambique! Only Jesus can change a life so completely and use such a one to display His hope and glory to others who are sitting in darkness! Glory to God! Isaiah 61:1 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
We have just had the most incredible two weeks wit We have just had the most incredible two weeks with the most wonderful team of laid down lovers of Jesus from Brazil! They grew up in the slums of Rio but God powerfully saved them, put a burning desire in their hearts for missions and then miraculously opened the doors for them to come to Africa! We took them into Mozambique where they preached in churches, on the streets, in the market place, from house to house and in the prison! They sat with the lonely, prayed for the sick, grieving and broken and poured out the love of God everywhere they went! They left the beautiful fragrance of Christ in Africa and we are so thankful that God sent them here to be with us for these precious two weeks! God is so good! When He calls, He provides! One of the team members used to be a criminal who grew up on the streets of the slum and was almost executed by the drug lords, but God saved his life, gave him new life, and he preached in the Mozambican prison last week about Christ the hope of glory! I cried as I watched what only God can do! All of these precious Brazilians grew up in the slums in the garbage dump of Rio and are now proclaiming Christ in the nations! Nothing is impossible with our God!

What an incredible week we had with Jesus in Zimba What an incredible week we had with Jesus in Zimbabwe at the Arise Africa conference, training pastors and leaders, equipping saints, healing the sick and above all, exalting JESUS! Cataracts dissolved, pains melted away, and the saints were equipped to become the royal priesthood of our Lord Jesus Christ! It is time to arise and be seated with Christ in the heavenly places and to shine with the light of Christ in all the world so that all might know the glory of God!

We are so excited for our daughter, Gabriella, who We are so excited for our daughter, Gabriella, who is heading back to Brazil in September! The Lord placed a strong desire in her heart for Brazil when she was only 10 years old and it has only grown stronger since! She has been there twice now and comes alive as can only happen when someone is right where God has created them to be!! We went with her on the last trip and witnessed for ourselves how evidently she is made for that place and the people there! She just fits in! Gabriella is having a fundraiser night for everyone who is in the Brisbane area! Please go along and support her! It is so wonderful to watch the next generation of missionaries and ministers of the gospel being raised up and sent out and it is our responsibility as the body of Christ to support and cheer them on as they step out of the boat in faith and surrender!
